🔥 What you’ll be doing:

👉 Own and manage all daily finance operations: invoicing, payables, expenses, approvals

👉 Lead monthly closings and ensure accurate, timely reporting

👉 Work with tools like Exact Online, Basecone, Stripe, and HubSpot to improve workflows

👉 Oversee vendor and customer contracts

👉 Build budgets, forecasts, and reporting packs

👉 Support leadership with financial analysis and scenario planning

👉 Monitor cash flow, burn rate, and key metrics

👉 Be the go-to person for finance questions across the company

👉 Develop scalable processes and documentation

👉 Recruit and manage future finance team members

🎯 You’ll thrive in this role if:

✔️ You bring senior-level expertise in finance, business control or FP&A — and the authority to challenge leadership and shape decisions in a scale-up.

✔️ You know how to build and stress-test financial models that convince boards and investors.

✔️ You're as comfortable with monthly closings and cash flow as you are with long-term forecasting and growth scenarios.

✔️ You act as a strategic sparring partner to the c-suite on financial topics, not just the person keeping the books in order.

✔️ You can translate numbers into clear insights and aren't afraid to challenge assumptions.

✔️ You're hands-on with Exact Online, Basecone, Stripe and Excel, and you know how to turn raw data into clarity.

✔️ You understand Dutch accounting and compliance (VAT, KVK, payroll) and you've managed external bookkeepers and financial partners.

✔️ You thrive in a fast-moving environment, bring structure without slowing things down, and spot opportunities to grow — not just to save.

✔️ You're motivated to build, not just maintain. You want to see the company triple, not just balance the bank account.
